You Tube Tuesday #5

Tomorrow I will post about my adventure at the Ophthalmologists office.

Today I give you another kitty video but this one blew me away. I have NEVER seen a cat like this before.

Check it out.

SG - I take it this is not your personal kitty (after the comment you made on Sandra's blog about wanting to get one).
When I was growing up we had one with similar black & white coloring - his name was "Burt" - and I'm afraid he did not share the same fondness for water as this guy.

Is this cat on drugs?? I have never seen a cat hang out like that in a sink, as though it's a bird frolicking in a birdbath.

My fat cat Abby can't handle even the thought of getting wet. She starts howling in this deep, not-of-this-world sort of yowl, bristling up her fur and dropping her enormous belly as low to the ground as she can manage.

Sidenote: I love YouTube Tuesdays!

OMG!

I've had many cats over the years, and have NEVER known one to like the water.

Unbelievable...

MN - I wish it was mine but you are correct.

KM - I love YTT's too! And I do believe that maybe the cat has been drugged or is being hypnotized! LOL

SM - That is what blew me away. A cat loving water? What's next?

Awesome. What's next is a diabetic loving an A1C of 17. ;)

I have two cats and I have had to give both baths at one stage or another. One will literally climb up and over your back (with scratches galore), the other will just sit there and give you a very sad look.

The one that just sits there also has a bad habit of lying in the bathroom sink shortly before you use it (it's the only time she does it). Easiest way to get her out is to actually turn on the tap. For a while she's fine with it, lapping at the water that builds up around her, but after a bit she'll get out.

Wow! I have two cats often featured on my blog who enjoy drinking water from random locations (read: clean toilet) but will not even let their paws get wet. :)

Super George- this video cracked me up! I have never known a cat that liked getting wet to that extent. My old cat loves to drink out of the bathroom sink, but to get wet is the last thing she wants to do.

This kitty looks almost identical to the cat who lives with us. (She's technically our roommate's cat, so I can't call her MY cat.)

But trust me, our darling Kittyface would hate Hate HATE a bath like that. And yet she likes to drink out of the toilet sometimes. Now that's really scary, haha.

I was waiting for them to let the water out so we could watch the cat chasing the little water tornado thing that happens...
