Holiday Cards to Help People with Diabetes

Here is info on a great way to help people with diabetes and purchase some fantastic Holiday Cards! Please check it out.

Eighty-three-year-old Isabel from Virginia entered the contest because her father had diabetes. Fifteen-year-old Dana from Colorado entered because she lives with diabetes every day. Although they live hundreds of miles away from each other and are separated in age by generations, both artists wanted to make a difference in the lives of others with diabetes and entered their artwork in the dLife Foundation's Holiday Cards for a Cause contest. Theirs are two of the 10 winning entries.

All of the proceeds from this program will benefit adults and children who have diabetes. Contest participants were people who have diabetes or who dedicated their artwork to someone else's battle against the disease. The 10 winning cards, including those created by Virginia and Dana, can be viewed and ordered at www.dLifefoundation.org/greetingcards.

The dLife Foundation ( www.dlifefoundation.org) supports individuals in need of diabetes care now including supplies, education, and motivational programs, through organizations, foundations and camps dedicated to diabetes. The dLife Foundation partnered with More Than Cards to create the cards for the winning entries and also many other holiday cards and items for sale on the website.

The dLife Foundation is the official charity of dLife.
