Temptation

Yesterday I posted about a sticky situation on my blog at Blogabetes. Well, today when I walk into the kitchen here at work to put my Lean Cusine in the freezer I see this on the table.

There are actually two sitting there right now. With fruit and cream cheese and yummy effing goodness! Oh my, I could easily devour that whole thing in a matter of seconds.

But you know what? The grits that I am having for breakfast are pretty good and only two points, so there! Here's to a good weigh in tomorrow.

Any guess on how many carb a slice of this thing is? Or Points even?

My guess is a coma-inducing 200. Someone at your work is cruel. Way to steer clear and stick with the program.

I don't even know what it is, but I suppose you could pick off the strawberries, as long as they're just strawberries and not soaking in sugar/corn syrup nastiness.

Honestly, that doesn't even look that good. Now bread and cheese, that's my dieting weakness.

Good for you for not giving in! I know how hard that is.

Congrats on sticking to your guns! I'm with Major Bedhead, that actually looks kind of sickening to me.

Hershey's Kisses, on the other hand...

Oooh, George, don't you just hate that? When they stick it right there where you just have to drool over it?

Anyway, I might have some rock 'n roll to help you out. See http://www.diabetesmine.com/2008/02/tunes-to-trim-d.html

Glad you stuck to your grits! Although, I think I still would have cut a quarter of a piece off for myself. Nom nom nom.

It might be different were I on Weight Watchers. :)

You did great by just having your grits. I haven't had those for a long time. They sound good. I'm gonna have to get some. Maybe that will help keep me away from that kind of stuff in the picture.
