You Tube Tuesday #135

Wedding reception dances, silly kitties, and cute kids end up on YTT a lot.

I think I have also had a few marriage proposal clips. This one is pretty cute. I proposed to my wife using a box of Cracker Jacks and her ring was the prize, or I was.

Those of you married folk watching this, I would love to hear how you got engaged. Those stories are always fun.

Enjoy the clip!

That is so cute. Cute, cute, cute.

Chris proposed while we were on vacation in St. John. And while he tried really hard to be smooth as he slid down onto one knee, he was too nervous. And he fell off his chair. :)

I love engagements. Thanks for sharing this!!

Engagement And magic??!!!! Oh my. Awesomeness.

Loved the clip.

God willing I will have a story one day. ;-)

wv: flyper

My brain went to fly paper then flipper. Hmmm. Maybe if I share less what is inside my brain, the flyper will occur and someone will...oh nevermind.

Super cute! And original.

Chad proposed to me at home while I was sitting in my favorite chair, reading my favorite book. It was perfect.

Very cute! Christmas Eve. Jay handed me a ring that had been sitting on the bookshelf all day, without me noticing it. I'd been waiting six years. My first reaction: "Is this Diamonique?" thinking it was a bad joke. Luckily both the ring and the proposal were genuine.

Great clip! Joe met me at work for lunch and couldn't go to the parl like he wanted bc it was raining so we went to the diner. He had gotten me flowers (which wasn't unusual) and when he walked me back to my office, he handed me our journal. We kept a journal where we wrote to each other all the time. I didn't think anything out of the ordinary since it was his turn to write. I thought I would read it later but he kept insisting I read it then. Annoyingly insisting. So I opened it right there in the lobby and to my surprise there was writing on the pages but also a hole that was burned through the middle of the pages - just big enough for a ring to fit. His writing was a poem proposing! The ring was his grandmother's and it was her bday that day :)

Awww, between the video and all of the engagement stories, I'm all misty over here!!

When Pete moved back to CT from NJ, we bought my ring so I knew it was coming. He pretended he was taking me to lunch but needed to take a detour to the gas station, and we ended up at the beach on the bench that we sat on during our first date. BUT, there were people on the bench. We kind of stood around waiting for them to leave but they didn't, so I just went over and sat down next to them. LOL The people left, and Pete said "Will you do me the honor of being my wife" but he was so nervous he forgot to take out the ring or to get on one knee. I think I said something like "I'd love too, but you have to get on one knee first". LOL

I wouldn't have had it any other way!

I proposed to Tab at an Olive Garden restaurant. That was "high class" for us back then you know! LOL!
